You indeed, our fathers, Soma, performed deeds of old, the purifying, the wise. Bring to us strength, new vigour, replenish us with horses and with the might of cloud-born gifts.

Soma Pavamāna, by you our ancient and wise progenitors performed their religious rites; harming the foes (yourself) unharmed slay the rākṣasas and be liberal in enriching us with male offspring and horses.

For our sage fathers, Soma Pavamana, of old performed, by thee, their sacred duties. Fighting unvanquished, open the enclosures: enrich us with large gifts of steeds and heroes.
