स पू॒र्व्यो व॑सु॒विज्जाय॑मानो मृजा॒नो अ॒प्सु दु॑दुहा॒नो अद्रौ॑ । अ॒भि॒श॒स्ति॒पा भुव॑नस्य॒ राजा॑ वि॒दद्गा॒तुं ब्रह्म॑णे पू॒यमा॑नः
sa pūrvyo vasuvijjāyamāno mṛjāno apsu duduhāno adrau abhiśastipā bhuvanasya rājā vidadgātuṃ brahmaṇe pūyamānaḥ
He, the ancient bestower of wealth, was born, the milker of cows in waters and mountains. He established the worlds; the king gave him to go to Brahman as one honoured with offerings.
The ancient (Soma) the finder of treasure as soon as genitive rated, cleansed in the waters milked on the stone, the defender against enemies, the sovereign of the world, purified for the sacrifice, shows (the worshipper) the right way.
Born in old time as finder-out of treasures, drained with the stone, decking himself in waters, Warding off curses, King of all existence, he shall find way for prayer the while they cleanse him.
