uta sma rāśiṃ pari yāsi gonāmindreṇa soma sarathaṃ punānaḥ pūrvīriṣo bṛhatīrjīradāno śikṣā śacīvastava tā upaṣṭut
You carried the herd’s treasure around, Soma, with Indra as charioteer for the herdsmen. The ancient, mighty ones, bestowers of strength and of old age, praised your potency and stood by you.
And being purified, Soma, you pursue the herd of (stolen) cattle in the same chariot with Indra; O you who give quickly, give (us) when invoked plural ntiful and abundant viands, for they are your (property) O you who abound in food.
Cleansing thyselr, and borne along with Indra, Soma, thou goest round the herd of cattle. May thy praise help us, Mighty One, prompt Giver, to the full ample food which thou bestowest.
