राजा॑ समु॒द्रं न॒द्यो॒३॒॑ वि गा॑हते॒ऽपामू॒र्मिं स॑चते॒ सिन्धु॑षु श्रि॒तः । अध्य॑स्था॒त्सानु॒ पव॑मानो अ॒व्ययं॒ नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्या ध॒रुणो॑ म॒हो दि॒वः
rājā samudraṃ nadyo3 vi gāhate'pāmūrmiṃ sacate sindhuṣu śritaḥ adhyasthātsānu pavamāno avyayaṃ nābhā pṛthivyā dharuṇo maho divaḥ
The king plunged into the sea’s roar and found the ocean-wave’s surge among the waters where the rivers lie. The Pavamana, imperishable, stood over them; he held the navel of the earth, the great heaven’s bearer.
The royal (Soma) plural nges into the firmament, (and) the rivers (thereof), mixed with the streams, he associates with the wave of the waters; being filtered he stands upon the uplifted woollen (filter) on the navel of the earth, the upholder of the vast heaven.
The Sovran dips him in the seain and the streams, and set in rivers with the waters' wave moves on. High heaven's Sustainer at the central point of earth, raised on the fleecy surface Pavamana stands.
