अ॒ञ्जते॒ व्य॑ञ्जते॒ सम॑ञ्जते॒ क्रतुं॑ रिहन्ति॒ मधु॑ना॒भ्य॑ञ्जते । सिन्धो॑रुच्छ्वा॒से प॒तय॑न्तमु॒क्षणं॑ हिरण्यपा॒वाः प॒शुमा॑सु गृभ्णते
añjate vyañjate samañjate kratuṃ rihanti madhunābhyañjate sindhorucchvāse patayantamukṣaṇaṃ hiraṇyapāvāḥ paśumāsu gṛbhṇate
He sharpens, adorns and perfects the rite; the pressing honey surrounds it. The roaring rivers, the golden purifiers, seize the sacrificial beasts with their mouths.
(The priests) smear and grease and anoint (the Soma with milk); (the gods) taste the invigorating (juice); they smear it over with sweet (milk). Purifying it with gold, they plural nge it into those (waters) the sprinkler, the beholder, falling into the seething torrent.
They balm him, balm him over balm him thoroughly, caress the mighty strength and balm it with the meath. They seize the flying Steer at the stream's breathing-place: cleansing with gold they grasp the Animal herein.
