सो अग्रे॒ अह्नां॒ हरि॑र्हर्य॒तो मदः॒ प्र चेत॑सा चेतयते॒ अनु॒ द्युभिः॑ । द्वा जना॑ या॒तय॑न्न॒न्तरी॑यते॒ नरा॑ च॒ शंसं॒ दैव्यं॑ च ध॒र्तरि॑
so agre ahnāṃ harirharyato madaḥ pra cetasā cetayate anu dyubhiḥ dvā janā yātayannantarīyate narā ca śaṃsaṃ daivyaṃ ca dhartari
He first delights the days with praise, rousing joy in hearts by mind and heroic deeds. Two peoples he leads together, the inner one and the human—he sustains the divine fame.
At the beginning of the day the green-tinted delightful exhilarating (Soma) is recognized by the intelligence (of the praisers) and by their praises; approaching the two men he passes in the midst (of heaven and earth, bestowing) upon the upholder (of the rite) both human and divine (riches).
When days begin, the strong juice, lovely, golden-hued, is recognized by wisdom more and more each day, He, stirring both the Races, goes between the two, the bearer of the word of men and word of Gods.
