pavamāna mahyarṇo vi dhāvasi sūro na citro avyayāni pavyayā gabhastipūto nṛbhiradribhiḥ suto mahe vājāya dhanyāya dhanvasi
O Pavamana, you run for me like a hero whose splendor does not fade; purified in the womb, endowed with strength, you bring great wealth and success.
Purified (Soma), you pour forth abundant juice; like the wonderful sun (you approach) the fleecy filters; purified by the hands of the priests, expressed with the stones you flow for a mighty wealth-yielding conflict.
Fain to be cleansed, thou, Pavamana, pourest out, like wondrous Surya, through the fleece, an ample sea. Purified with the hands, pressed by the men with stones, thou speedest on to mighty booty-bringing war.
