Soma made holy the divine abodes; Indra placed (it) in the pitcher pure. Sit in Indra’s belly, O purifiers, O men, the sun rose by the paths of heaven.
Flow, Soma, to the heavenly abodes; let forth, O Indu, (proceed) to the pitcher, to the filter; alighting upon Indra's belly with a noise, guided by the priests, make the sun ascend the sky.
Flow, onward, Soma, in thine own celestial forms, flow, Indu, poured within the beaker and the sieve. Sinking into the throat of Indra with a roar, led by the men thou madest Surya mount to heaven.
