द्रा॒पिं वसा॑नो यज॒तो दि॑वि॒स्पृश॑मन्तरिक्ष॒प्रा भुव॑ने॒ष्वर्पि॑तः । स्व॑र्जज्ञा॒नो नभ॑सा॒भ्य॑क्रमीत्प्र॒त्नम॑स्य पि॒तर॒मा वि॑वासति
drāpiṃ vasāno yajato divispṛśamantarikṣaprā bhuvaneṣvarpitaḥ svarjajñāno nabhasābhyakramītpratnamasya pitaramā vivāsati
Drapin, the Vasana, when worshipped, touched the heaven and sprinkled (blessings) upon the worlds. The knower of heaven commenced from the sky; his fatherly one dwells (there) in the exalted seat.
Wearing a coat of mail reaching to heaven, the adorable Soma, who fills the firmament (with rain), plural ced in the waters, genitive rating heaven,passes with the water, (and) worships its ancient parent (Indra).
He, clad in mail that reaches heaven, the Holy One, filling the firmament stationed amid the worlds, Knowing. the realm of light, hath come to us in rain: he summons to himself his own primeval Sire.
