आ यो गोभिः॑ सृ॒ज्यत॒ ओष॑धी॒ष्वा दे॒वानां॑ सु॒म्न इ॒षय॒न्नुपा॑वसुः । आ वि॒द्युता॑ पवते॒ धार॑या सु॒त इन्द्रं॒ सोमो॑ मा॒दय॒न्दैव्यं॒ जन॑म्
ā yo gobhiḥ sṛjyata oṣadhīṣvā devānāṃ sumna iṣayannupāvasuḥ ā vidyutā pavate dhārayā suta indraṃ somo mādayandaivyaṃ janam
He who begot cattle and herbs for the gods, desiring abundant bliss, fasted with vigil. Bright dawn poured forth, bearing Indra and Soma; bring not unto us hostile birth.
The Soma who is created by the (sun's) rays, (and whom they plural ce) in the herbs for the gratification of the gods, desiring to go (to the gods), taking wealth from (the foe), flows when effused in a brilliant stream, exhilarating Indra (and) the people of heaven.
He who is poured with milk, he who within the plants hastes bringing treasure for the happiness of Gods, He, poured forth in a stream flows with the lightning's flash, Soma who gladdens Indra and the Host of Heaven.
