The flow of Soma shines like a man’s eye with its true light; the gods are invoked by the ritual day. Lord Bṛhaspati brightly shone with the radiance of the sun; the oceans did not separate the waters of the heavens.
The stream of the Soma, the contemplator of man, flows forth; it invites by the sacrifice the gods (who dwell) above the sky; it shines forth at the voice of the sacrificer; the libations cover (the earth) like rivers.
ON flows the stream of Soma who beholds mankind: by everlasting Law he calls the Gods from heaven. He lightens with the roaring of Br aspati: h the lakes have not contained the pourings of juice.
