From the cow-formed Soma come chariots, mighty conquerors in the forest, conquerors by strength, thousand-conquering in the flood. Which the gods made for drinking — the delightful, sweet, flavoring, rosy, wondrously fermented drink.
Soma flows for us, the conqueror of cattle, of chariots, of gold, of heaven, of water, of thousandfold (wealth), whom the gods have made for (their) drinking, exhilarating, most sweet-flavoured, dropping, purple, causing happiness.
Soma flows on for u's as winner of the kine, winner of thousands, cars, water, and light, and gold; He whom the Gods have made a gladdening draught to drink, the drop most sweet to taste, weal-bringing, red of hue.
