This treasure in the vessel, the honey-store, Indra’s thunderbolt made; his body grew his vigor. From the milking of the mighty immortal the butter and ghee pressers bring forth; the kine run to the milk like cows to the vessel.
The sweet-flavoured beverage sounds in the pitcher, the thunderbolt of Indra, more beautiful than the beautiful; (the stream) of this veracious (Soma) approach yielding much milk, dropping water, lowing like kine (laden) with milk.
MORE beauteous than the beautiful, as Indra's bolt, this Soma, rich in sweets, hath clamoured in the vat. Dropping with oil, abundant, streams of sacrifice flow unto him like milch-kine, lowing, with their milk.
