Indra’s Soma, the purifier, with surging waves cleansed in the bellies of the strong. The draught, poured forth like lightning and cloud at dawn, with mind and strength was not ever held back.
Soma who are purified, who desire strength enter Indra's belly in a mighty stream; milk heaven and earth for us as lightning (milks) the clouds; now with the rite meter (unto us) abundant food.
Soma, as thou art purified with flowing wave, exhibiting thy strength enter thou Indra's throat. Make both worlds stream for us, as lightning doth the clouds: mete out exhaustless powers for us, as 'twere through song.
