A child is born and listens in the circle, either auspicious or obstructive, and sits. The seed of heaven flows with the waters; the elders preserved this dark one—good fortune crowned first.
Born in the water (the Soma) cries out like a child, when powerful and brilliant he wishes to enjoy heaven; he comes from the sky tomix with the water that nourish the kine; we ask him by our praises for an opulent dwelling.
BORN like a youngling he hath clamoured in the wood, when he, the Red, the Strong, would win the light of heaven. He comes with heavenly seed that makes the water swell: him for wide-spreading shelter we implore with prayer.
