From the wellsprings, born of potency, the waters with even voice made the womb of untruth; they bound the navel. Three chiefs crowned the Asura and began the boat of truth; the well‑done deeds filled the hull.
(The streams) of the dripping effused (Soma) sound together on the jaw (of the sacrifice), the Soma-juices flow together to the plural ce of sacrifice. The powerful (Soma) has made the three exalted worlds for the use (of men and gods); the ships of the truthful (Soma) satisfy the pious worshipper.
THEY from the spouting drop have sounded at the rim: naves speed together to the place of sacrifice. That Asura hath formed, to seize, three lofty heights. The ships of truth have borne the pious man across.
