परा॒ व्य॑क्तो अरु॒षो दि॒वः क॒विर्वृषा॑ त्रिपृ॒ष्ठो अ॑नविष्ट॒ गा अ॒भि । स॒हस्र॑णीति॒र्यतिः॑ परा॒यती॑ रे॒भो न पू॒र्वीरु॒षसो॒ वि रा॑जति
parā vyakto aruṣo divaḥ kavirvṛṣā tripṛṣṭho anaviṣṭa gā abhi sahasraṇītiryatiḥ parāyatī rebho na pūrvīruṣaso vi rājati
Beyond, unmanifest, the sky’s seer, the bull-like poet, thrice thirsting, unassailed, went toward the cow. He crosses a thousandfold course to the far-off; the stream does not return to the forebears' rising.
Radiant, wise, flowing in separate streams, (the Soma descends) from the firmament; the shower offered at the three libations responds to the praises (of the worshippers); led in a thousand directions, coming and going, he shines at many a sunrise like one who sings praises (to the gods).
From far away, from heaven, the redhued noted Sage, Steer of the triple height, hath sung unto the kine. With thousand guidings he, leading this way and that, shines, as a singer, splendidly through many a morn.
