अश्वो॒ वोळ्हा॑ सु॒खं रथं॑ हस॒नामु॑पम॒न्त्रिणः॑ । शेपो॒ रोम॑ण्वन्तौ भे॒दौ वारिन्म॒ण्डूक॑ इच्छ॒तीन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव
aśvo voḷhā sukhaṃ rathaṃ hasanāmupamantriṇaḥ śepo romaṇvantau bhedau vārinmaṇḍūka icchatīndrāyendo pari srava
Horses and swift chariot bring joy, like laughing steers; two rams with bristling manes parted the waters—Indra, go around and flow.
The draught horse (desire) a cart easy (to draw); those who invite guests (desire) merriment; the frog desires water; flow, Indu, for Indra.
The horse would draw an easy car, gay hosts attract the laugh and jest. The male desires his mate's approach, the frog is eager for the flood, Flow, Indu, flow for Indra's sake.
