anūpe gomāngobhirakṣāḥ somo dugdhābhirakṣāḥ samudraṃ na saṃvaraṇānyagmanmandī madāya tośate
Cows went with cows in rows; Soma guarded by milk streams. The sea did not restrain them; the feeble one rejoices in pride.
Soma combined with the produce of the kine flows with the kine into the pitcher, he flows with the milked kine; his enjoyable juices go (to the pitcher as waters) to the ocean, the exhilarating (Soma) is expressed for the exhilaration (of the gods).
Down to the water-Soma, rich in kine hath flowed with cows, with cows that have been milked. They have approached the mixing-vessel as a sea: the cheerer streams for the carouse.
