अ॒पो वसा॑नः॒ परि॒ कोश॑मर्ष॒तीन्दु॑र्हिया॒नः सो॒तृभिः॑ । ज॒नय॒ञ्ज्योति॑र्म॒न्दना॑ अवीवश॒द्गाः कृ॑ण्वा॒नो न नि॒र्णिज॑म्
apo vasānaḥ pari kośamarṣatīndurhiyānaḥ sotṛbhiḥ janayañjyotirmandanā avīvaśadgāḥ kṛṇvāno na nirṇijam
Waters, the dwellers, encircle the womb‑store; the moon‑like ones, with channels, by their streams. They generated a faint light; cattle lowed, making not the dew‑drop faint.
Indu clothed with waters effused by the worshippers rushes to the receptacle, genitive rating light, identifying its form with the (products of the) kine, he covets now (our) praises.
Urged onward by the pressers, clad in watery robes, Indu is speeding to the vat. He gendering light, hath made the glad Cows low, while he takes them as his garb of state.
