taratsamudraṃ pavamāna ūrmiṇā rājā deva ṛtaṃ bṛhat arṣanmitrasya varuṇasya dharmaṇā pra hinvāna ṛtaṃ bṛhat
The purifier stretches the sea with waves; the godlike king widened the cosmic law. From the seer of Mitra and Varuna, by righteous rule he extended the great order.
The divine royal (Soma) vast and true, undergoing purification traverses the firmament in a stream; vast and true, being sent forth he flows for the support of Mitra and Varuṇa
May Pavamana, King and God, speed with his wave over the sea the lofty rite: May he by Mitra's and by Varuna's decree flow furthering the lofty rite.
