May he set me on the lean banks, with sheep and seven steeds, not lacking vigor. Moving on, the purifier, with wise priests, Soma with priestly seers and rites.
Desirous of (bestowing) food, passing through the interstices of the fleece the Soma is adorned like a horse in the battle; the Pavamāna, to be rejoiced in (by all, praised) by the intelligent, the sages, the reciters of sacred songs.
He beautifies himself through the sheep's long fine wool, like an impetuous steed in war, Even Soma Pavamana who shall be the joy of sages and of holy bards.
