ā soma suvāno adribhistiro vārāṇyavyayā jano na puri camvorviśaddhariḥ sado vaneṣu dadhiṣe
That Soma, brilliant, from the hills with steadfast streams, through the wilderness of the woods moved. People in the city and the bright-armed purifier dwell; he placed them in the good forests.
Expressed by the stones, Soma, (passing) through the sheep's hairs, green-tinted, entering the cups as a man (enters) a city, you take your seat in the wooden (vessels).
Effused by stones, O Soma, and urged through the long wool of the sheep, Thou, entering the saucers as a man the fort, gold-hued hast settled in the wood.
