अ॒स्मे इ॑न्द्र॒ सचा॑ सु॒ते नि ष॑दा पी॒तये॒ मधु॑ । कृ॒धी ज॑रि॒त्रे म॑घव॒न्नवो॑ म॒हद॒स्मे इ॑न्द्र॒ सचा॑ सु॒ते
asme indra sacā sute ni ṣadā pītaye madhu kṛdhī jaritre maghavannavo mahadasme indra sacā sute
Indra is with me, friend among the sons; sit to drink the honey. Do thou, Maghavan, perform the rite with the ladles; bestow upon us great gifts, Indra, with those who are with thee.
Sit with us, Indra, at the oblation to drink the Soma; Maghavan, perform a mighty protection for yourworshipper, (seated) with us at the oblation.
Thine, Lord of Bays, am I. Prayer longeth for the spoil. Still with thy help I seek the fight. So, at the raiders' head, I, craving steeds and kine, unite myself with thee alone.
