yamindra dadhiṣe tvamaśvaṃ gāṃ bhāgamavyayam yajamāne sunvati dakṣiṇāvati tasmintaṃ dhehi mā paṇau
Indra, thou who art set on the chariot, take the steadfast horse, the undying share. When the sacrifice is offered, place the right hand; in that act do not be stingy.
Those horses, those cows, that imperishable wealth which you have seized (from your enemies)--bestow them on the sacrificer who offers the Soma and is liberal to the priests-- not on the niggard.
Thou who subduedst Ayu, Kutsa, Atithigva, waxing daily in thy might, As such, rousing thy power, we invocate thee now, thee Satakratu, Lord of Bays.
