Three and sixfold are the Maruts who welcomed you, like rising dawns arrayed in hosts. Come to us; grant us the allotted share; with these hymns may we set the offering aright.
These sixty-three Maruts were worthy of sacrifice nourishing your vigour like cows gathered together;we come to you, do you grant us our portion; so will we produce strength in you by this offering.
The offercr whom thou, Indra, Lover of the Song, liberal Maghavan, favourest,- As at the call of Kanva so, O gracious Lord, hear, thou our songs and eulogy.
