If the heavens for Indra and the earth became a hundredfold, the bolts would not, O wielder, be a thousand suns following eightfold born of the morning light.
Indra, were there a hundred heavens to compare with you, or were there a hundred earths-- Othunderer, not even a thousand suns woudl reveal you-- yes, no created thing would fill you, nor heaven andearth.
Let prelude sound and following chant so let him hear the Saman sung, And with his bounty answer us.
