Most mighty, the foremost of great hymns, Indra intense, highest among the gods, ruler of heroic wealth—he is the sovereign of the powerful ones.

(I invoke) Indra, the unlimited, worthy of praise, the mighty, possessing excellent wealth, the lord oftreasures (for his votaries).

So may he find what erst was lost, so may be speed the pious man, And lengthen his remaining life.
