अ॒हं च॒ त्वं च॑ वृत्रह॒न्सं यु॑ज्याव स॒निभ्य॒ आ । अ॒रा॒ती॒वा चि॑दद्रि॒वोऽनु॑ नौ शूर मंसते भ॒द्रा इन्द्र॑स्य रा॒तयः॑
ahaṃ ca tvaṃ ca vṛtrahansaṃ yujyāva sanibhya ā arātīvā cidadrivo'nu nau śūra maṃsate bhadrā indrasya rātayaḥ
I and you, slayer of Vritra, unite, close by the host. Like a swift charging war-band we pursue — brave ones think so; these are Indra's auspicious nights.
May I and you, slayer of Vṛtra, be close to you united until wealth is obtained; hero, wielding thethunderbolt, even the niggard concedes (that our union gives wealth); Indra's gifts are worthy of praise.
