Truth, Indra and Varuna, milks for you the thin sweet surge—sevenfold are the voices. By them grant the tenfold fleet steeds; O Auspicious Lord, who upholds the ocean of sacrifice with thought and with minds.
True, O Indra and Varuṇa, is that saying of Kṛsa's, 'the seven sacred voices distil a stream of honey',for their sake help the worshipper, O you lords of splendour, who reverence you devoutly in his thoughts.
No one by deed attains to him who works and strengthens evermore: No, not by sacrifice, to Indra. praised o all, resistless, daring, bold in might.
