नि॒ष्षिध्व॑री॒रोष॑धी॒राप॑ आस्ता॒मिन्द्रा॑वरुणा महि॒मान॒माश॑त । या सिस्र॑तू॒ रज॑सः पा॒रे अध्व॑नो॒ ययोः॒ शत्रु॒र्नकि॒रादे॑व॒ ओह॑ते
niṣṣidhvarīroṣadhīrāpa āstāmindrāvaruṇā mahimānamāśata yā sisratū rajasaḥ pāre adhvano yayoḥ śatrurnakirādeva ohate
Let the firm-bodied plants and the standing ones, Indra and Varuna, cast forth great might. May that which flowed like foam of the rājas toward the roadside, the enemy did not carry away but delivered (to us).
The plural nts and the waters were efficacious, they have attained their power, O indra and Varuṇa, youwho have gone beyond the path of the firmament, no godless man is worth being called your enemy.
Honour that Indra, Puruhanman! for his aid, in whose sustaining hand of old, The splendid bolt of thunder was deposited, as the great Sun was set in heaven.
