ज्योति॑ष्मन्तं केतु॒मन्तं॑ त्रिच॒क्रं सु॒खं रथं॑ सु॒षदं॒ भूरि॑वारम् । चि॒त्राम॑घा॒ यस्य॒ योगे॑ऽधिजज्ञे॒ तं वां॑ हु॒वे अति॑ रिक्तं॒ पिब॑ध्यै
jyotiṣmantaṃ ketumantaṃ tricakraṃ sukhaṃ rathaṃ suṣadaṃ bhūrivāram citrāmaghā yasya yoge'dhijajñe taṃ vāṃ huve ati riktaṃ pibadhyai
I invoke the luminous, bannered one, the triple-wheeled, pleasant chariot, the well-guided, widely returning—he whose auspicious hour and joining are known; I call him to you to drink, all unfilled.
The brilliant chariot, diffusing splendour, rolling lightly on its three wheels, offering an easy seat, and fullof many gifts, at whose yoking the Dawn was born, rich in marvellous treasures, I invoke that your chariot (OAśvins), come you here to drink.
The dappled kine who stream with milk prepare his draught of Soma juice: Clans in the birth-place of the Gods, in the three luminous realms of heaven.
