यथा॑ क॒लां यथा॑ श॒फं यथ॑ ऋ॒णं सं॒नया॑मसि । ए॒वा दु॒ष्ष्वप्न्यं॒ सर्व॑मा॒प्त्ये सं न॑यामस्यने॒हसो॑ व ऊ॒तयः॑ सुऊ॒तयो॑ व ऊ॒तयः॑
yathā kalāṃ yathā śaphaṃ yatha ṛṇaṃ saṃnayāmasi evā duṣṣvapnyaṃ sarvamāptye saṃ nayāmasyanehaso va ūtayaḥ suūtayo va ūtayaḥ
As you control the herd, as you control the arrow, as you restrain a debt — thus may you restrain every harmful dream; O exalted ones, O heralds, be gracious to us.
As (in the sacrifice) we put severally together the proper parts and the hoofs, and as we discharge adebt, so we transfer all the ill-omened dream that rests on Āptya; your aids are void of harm, your aids are trueaids.
As we collect the utmost debt, even the eighth and sixteenth part, So unto Aptya we transfer together all the evil dream.
