Rishya, do not thirst nor avoid the draught; take and drink Soma as commanded. The cloud-born one praises riches like the sky; place strength foremost with him together.

Come like a thirsty deer to the watering plural ce, drink at will of the Soma, whence, daily driving down theclouds, you sustain, Maghavan, most vigorous strength.

Come like a thirsty antelope to the drinking-place: drink Soma to thy heart's desire. Raining it down, O Maghavan, day after day, thou gainest thy surpassing might.
