yadindra prāgapāgudaṅnyagvā hūyase nṛbhiḥ simā purū nṛṣūto asyānave'si praśardha turvaśe
If formerly, Indra, you were invoked by men with prayers and oblations, the settled folk of the people moved forth; be swift in helping us.
Inasmuch, Indra, as you are invoked by the people in the east, in the west, in the north, in the south, so,excellent Indra, have you been incited by men on behalf of the son of Anu; so, overcomer of foes, (have you beencalled upon) on behalf of Turvaśa.
THOUGH, Indra, thou art called by men eastward and westward, north and south, Thou chiefly art with Anava and Turvasa, brave Champion I urged by men to Come.
