Agni knows the three threefold elements. He ordained three, eleven here; the guardian and the purifier, the priestly envoy prepared—he dwells among many heavens alike.
Agni, the sage, inhabits the three elementary regions; may he, intelligent, and richly decorated, themessenger (of the gods), here perform worship to the thrice eleven deities, and satisfy all our desires; may all ouradversaries perish.
Agni the Wise inhabiteth three gathering-places, triply formed. Decked as our envoy let the Sage bring hither and conciliate the Thrice Eleven Deities. Let all the others die away.
