तत्त॑द॒ग्निर्वयो॑ दधे॒ यथा॑यथा कृप॒ण्यति॑ । ऊ॒र्जाहु॑ति॒र्वसू॑नां॒ शं च॒ योश्च॒ मयो॑ दधे॒ विश्व॑स्यै दे॒वहू॑त्यै॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे
tattadagnirvayo dadhe yathāyathā kṛpaṇyati ūrjāhutirvasūnāṃ śaṃ ca yośca mayo dadhe viśvasyai devahūtyai nabhantāmanyake same
Thus Agni consumes for us as he kindly wills. He is the vigorous oblation for the wealth-givers, and he grants the sacrificial share to all the world’s gods alike.
Agni grants whatever food is solicited; invoked with offerings, he bestows on the worshippershappiness springing from tranquility and the enjoyment (of objects of sense); he is requisite for all invocation ofthe gods; may all our adversaries perish.
Agni bestows all vital power even as each man supplicates. He brings the Vasus strengthening gifts, and grants deliglht, in rest and stir, for every calling on the Gods. Let all the others die away.
