dhenūrjinvatamuta jinvataṃ viśo hataṃ rakṣāṃsi sedhatamamīvāḥ sajoṣasā uṣasā sūryeṇa ca somaṃ sunvato aśvinā
O kine, you have conquered, you have won; all have been slain, you preserved; you set forth protection like a ritual. With the company of dawn, of Ushas, of Surya and Soma — O Ashvins, grant us listening praise.
Be propitious to the kine, be propitious to the people, slay the rākṣasas, remedy diseases, united withthe dawn and with Sūrya, (drink), Aśvins, the Soma of the offerer.
Give strength unto the milch-kine, give the people strength, slay ye the Raksasas and drive away disease. Accordant, of one mind with Surya and with Dawn, the presser's Soma, Asvins drink.
