क्ष॒त्रं जि॑न्वतमु॒त जि॑न्वतं॒ नॄन्ह॒तं रक्षां॑सि॒ सेध॑त॒ममी॑वाः । स॒जोष॑सा उ॒षसा॒ सूर्ये॑ण च॒ सोमं॑ सुन्व॒तो अ॑श्विना
kṣatraṃ jinvatamuta jinvataṃ nṝnhataṃ rakṣāṃsi sedhatamamīvāḥ sajoṣasā uṣasā sūryeṇa ca somaṃ sunvato aśvinā
O Kshatra, you have conquered, you have won; you have slain men, safeguarded and set forth protection like a ritual. With the company of dawn, of Ushas, of Surya and Soma — O Ashvins, grant us listening praise.
Be propitious to the strong, be propitious to men, slay the rākṣasas, remedy diseases, united with thedawn and with Sūrya, (drink), Aśvins, the Soma of the offerer.
Strengthen the Ruling Power, strengthen the men of war; slay ye the Raksasas and drive away disease. Accordant, of one mind with Surya and with Dawn, the presser's Soma, Asvins drink.
