यो धृ॑षि॒तो योऽवृ॑तो॒ यो अस्ति॒ श्मश्रु॑षु श्रि॒तः । विभू॑तद्युम्न॒श्च्यव॑नः पुरुष्टु॒तः क्रत्वा॒ गौरि॑व शाकि॒नः
yo dhṛṣito yo'vṛto yo asti śmaśruṣu śritaḥ vibhūtadyumnaścyavanaḥ puruṣṭutaḥ kratvā gauriva śākinaḥ
He who is brave, who is unveiled, who stands among the hosts of listening; resplendent, joyous, youthful, strengthened, maker of the shining, wielder of the plough—O noble one with the spear.
He who is the subduer (of foes), the unresisted, practised in combats, possessed of vast wealth, thedemander of the libation, the praised of many, who by his acts (of bounty) is like a cow to the competent(worshipper).
The bold of heart whom none provokes, who stands in bearded confidence; Much-lauded, very glorious, overthrowing foes, strong Helper, like a bull with might.
