When the brave one surpassed the non-existent, he yoked swift horses; he who watches the sacrificer’s mind of the gods becomes strong by sacrifice.
To him in this life is a valiant progeny, to him are swift herds of horses; the celebrator of the sacrifice, who desires to propitiate the mind of the gods, overcomes those who are no sacrificers.
Such strength of heroes shall be his, such mastery of fleet-foot steeds. The man who, sacrificing, strives to win the heart of Deities will conquer those who worship not.
