He spread with a thousand seers, made abundant like the sea; I proclaim that his greatness is truth—his fame in sacrifices, in the realm of priests.
Invigorated by (the praises of) a thousand ṛṣis, this (Indra) is as vast as the ocean; the true mightinessand strength of him are glorified at sacrifices, and in the realm of the devout.
He, with his might enhanced by Rsis thousandfold, hath like an ocean spread himself. His majesty is praised as true at solemn rites, his power where holy singers rule.
