Praise Indra who is the chariot-driver, the mighty Yama; the noble one seize greatness; give strength to the steed.

Glorify Indra, the unassailable, the powerful, the regulator (of man), as was done by Vyaśva, he, thelord, gives a spacious dwelling to the donor (of the oblation).

As Vyasva did, praise Indra, praise the Strong unfluctuating Guide, Who gives the foe's possessions to the worshipper.
