Great are all the offerings brought near; O Agni, you receive the oblations from men—accept salutations on the sacred grass (barhi).

Sit down, Agni, on the sacred grass, in the presence of all those worshippers diligent (in pious works,induced) by their veneration (to accept) the oblations of men.
