citra idrājā rājakā idanyake yake sarasvatīmanu parjanya iva tatanaddhi vṛṣṭyā sahasramayutā dadat
This kingly Chitra, like Indra, granted to many another of the kings, like Parjanya gave by rain — he bestowed a thousand-year life.
Verily the Rājā Citra, giving his thousands and tens of thousands, has overspread (with his bounty)those other petty princes, who rules along the Sarasvatī, as Parjanya (overspeads the earth) with rain.
Citra is King, and only kinglings are the rest who dwell beside Sarasvati. He, like Parjanya with his rain, hath spread himself with thousand, yea, with myriad gifts.
