amāya vo maruto yātave dyaurjihīta uttarā bṛhat yatrā naro dediśate tanūṣvā tvakṣāṃsi bāhvojasaḥ
May the Maruts bring to you the northern great heaven sought by the clans; where a man sets down his limbs, there are your arms of vigour.
(Alarmed) at your violence, Maruts, the heaven seeks to rise higher, abandoning the firmament, where(you) the strong-armed leaders (of rites) display the ornaments of (your) person ns.
To lend free course, O Maruts, to your furious rush, heaven high and higher still gives way, Where they, the Heroes mighty with their arms, display their gleaming omaments on their forms.
