vi dvīpāni pāpatantiṣṭhadducchunobhe yujanta rodasī pra dhanvānyairata śubhrakhādayo yadejatha svabhānavaḥ
The two islands stood apart, the poor ones moved together like weepers; the skilled archers—bright-gleaming—went where their own sons were assembled.
They fall upon the island; the firm-set (trees) are with difficulty sustained; they agitate both heaven andearth; they urge on the waters; bright- weaponed, far-shining, whatever (you approach) you cause to tremble.
Islands are bursting forth and misery is stayed: the heaven and earth are joined in one. Decked with bright rings, ye spread the broad expanses out, when ye, Self. luminous, stirred yourselves.
