May your gleaming drinking-horn, blue-streaked, the season-kindled, be given; you are the beloved ruler of lands, dear for possessions, a king among treasures.
Sprinkled, (Agni, with the libation), the dripping (Soma), car-borne, agreeable, offered in due season, resplendent, have been presented to you; you are the beloved of the mighty dawns; you reign over the things ofnight.
Thy spark is black and crackling, kindled in due time, O Bounteous, it is taken up. Thou art the dear Friend of the mighty Mornings: thou shinest in glimmerings of the night.
