ति॒ग्मज॑म्भाय॒ तरु॑णाय॒ राज॑ते॒ प्रयो॑ गायस्य॒ग्नये॑ । यः पिं॒शते॑ सू॒नृता॑भिः सु॒वीर्य॑म॒ग्निर्घृ॒तेभि॒राहु॑तः
tigmajambhāya taruṇāya rājate prayo gāyasyagnaye yaḥ piṃśate sūnṛtābhiḥ suvīryamagnirghṛtebhirāhutaḥ
Agni, like young wood of tigma, shines as a bridegroom for the sacrifice; he, surrounded by golden spoils, the courageous, is invoked with clarified butter.
Offer (sacriicial) food to that bright-shining, every-youthful, royal Agni, who, (when gratified) by sincerepraises, and worshipped with oblations, bestows excellent male offspring.
Thou unto sharp-toothed Agni, Young and Radiant God, proclaimest with thy song the feast- Agni, who for our sweet strains moulds heroic strength when sacred oil is offered him,
