स दृ॒ळ्हे चि॑द॒भि तृ॑णत्ति॒ वाज॒मर्व॑ता॒ स ध॑त्ते॒ अक्षि॑ति॒ श्रवः॑ । त्वे दे॑व॒त्रा सदा॑ पुरूवसो॒ विश्वा॑ वा॒मानि॑ धीमहि
sa dṛḷhe cidabhi tṛṇatti vājamarvatā sa dhatte akṣiti śravaḥ tve devatrā sadā purūvaso viśvā vāmāni dhīmahi
He bestowed strength and cognition; he granted vigor to the wealth-bearing chariot. We meditate on thee, O gods, who are ever the protectors of the people, the dispellers of strife.
Lord of vast wealth, he (your worshipper) spoils with his steed food laid up even in strongholds, hepossesses imperishable wealth; in you divine we ever possess all desirable treasures.
To our great happiness have we ascribed to these Two Bright Ones truthfulness, great strength, and majesty. O Lords of splendour, aid us through the Three-times-Seven, as we pour holy oil, O Indra-Varuna.
